To create awareness among the public about various services being offered by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), special ‘Melas' will be conducted in various parts of the town on Monday. Divisional Engineer P.D. Arun Kumar, in a statement here on Saturday, said that the special melas would be conducted between 9 am and 6 p.m. at Sarpavaram junction, Bhanugudi junction, Head Post Office, Balaji Cheruvu and Achampet Junction. Issues like procedure to apply for new telephone connection, prepaid and postpaid mobile services being offered by the BSNL and various schemes pertaining to broadband would be covered during the special melas. Those who need the services can walk in directly to the special melas with passport size photograph and copy of residence proof.
