Kakinada, Dec 10th: Kakinada DLPO Mr. Gopalakrisha had declared the officers to take severe action on the concerned village Sarpanches who fail to collect tax in their respective areas. He declared this in the meeting held at DPO office here on Wednesday.
Nearly Sarpanches from 9 villages participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion DLPO said that a lot of variation has been seen in the amount that has been collected to the amount supposed to be collected in favor of tax. . He asked them not to repeat the same in the coming financial year.
DLPO asked the concerned Sarpanches to submit the reports about the non layout lands and SFC funds which were collected for the development of the facilities in villages. He also ordered to look after the sanitation and drinking water facilities in the concerned areas without any fail. EOPRD’s also took part in the meeting.
