District SP Mr. Siva Shankar Reddy has suspended two Police Constables working in Kakinada Two Town Police Station, who were alleged in the case of Chennai Businessman kidnap. As their crime was proved, the SP issued their suspension orders, here on Sunday. According to the sources, in the year of 2007, Johnson Nathar, a native of Chennai joined a Shipping Company in Kakinada as a Manager. Later in the year of 2008, he started his own Shipping Company along with his friend Durga Mahesh who is a native of Amalapuram. Due to huge loss in their business, Johnson Nathar has left the business and returned to Chennai on 30th April, 2008. After few days, Durga Mahesh went to Chennai along with his brother Durga Prasad and Suresh Kumar who are working as Constables at Two Town Police Station by planning to kidnap Nathar. Nearly 40 days Nathar was forcedly kept in their house at Ammalapuram and demanded for money. Using his intelligence, he has sent a cell phone message to his wife, thus the police got his identity. Therefore, the police arrested Durga Mahesh who is the main person behind this kidnap. Hence, after the department investigation the two police constables were suspended.
