The South Zone Inter University Table Tennis Competitions were being started grandly, here on Friday at JNTU-K Indoor Stadium in Kakinada. According to this, the AP Table Tennis Association President Mr. V.Bhaskar Ram has presided over the program as a chief guest and started these competitions. Speaking on this, the Honourable Guest JNTU-K Registrar Dr. Prasad Raju has stated that the JNTU-K Sports Council organising these competitions along with the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. A total 44 boys teams & 34 girls teams from 45 Universities from Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Pondicherry states are came to participate in these competitions. State Bank & Reliance Industries providing their help to these competitions. JNTU-K Director of Academics & Planning Dr. Uday Bhaskar, other Directors Mr. Saibabu, Mr. J.V.R.Murthy, Mr. Ravindra, Principals Mr. Padma Raju, Mr. Yesuratnam, Sports Council Secretary Mr. Syam Kumar and many others attended this inauguration program.
