Smoking Is Strictly Prohibited In New Delhi

 New Delhi: Health Minister Ramdas strictly made  prohibition act under which no one is allowed to smoke and those who violates this act would be fined 200 rupees . This came into existence from Thursday and hotels, restaurant,  pubs, international airports and  all other public areas also include in this prohibition.

    Ramdas said that Tobacco manufacturing companies are also to be shutdown, but that would definitely show impact on the farmers. They will look after an alternative work for the farmers. For the propaganda of the prohibition, pamphlets were distributed at railway stations, bus stops and many public areas. He said that India should turn as "Anti Tobacco Country".

     Delhi, Jharkand, Chandigardh,were already involved in the prohibition and Maharastra, Bihar were opposing this. Film Actor Shahrukh Khan also took active participation in this prohibition programme. On Monday he said that the Act was good and every one should strictly follow this, he also added that "I will try to stop smoking".
