Before we forget the collapse of Syamala Sadan, another incident took place here on Wednesday. However, rumor  spread that building was collapsed but this is a minor incident. Police and Revenue officers reached the incident spot immediately receiving this news. A slab in Samudaya Bhavan near Masid Center, Main Road was collapsed. Two masons and textile businessperson was injured in this incident. Due to this incident, neighboring shops owners and workers moved away from the place in panic. In the ground floor in Sri Balaji Lodge building, there are few textile shops. However, slab of the textile shop reached demolition stage. During repair of this slab, the slab was collapsed all of a sudden on the workers and the owner. Due to this, they fell directly on the footpath from the crack of the slab. Officers advised to close all the shops nearby and later on when Engineers confirmed that there was no problem, shops were reopened. Kakinada DSP Sai Sri, Town CI Dev Kumar, Traffic CI Eswarudu, Revenu, Municipal Officers visited the incident spot and investigating the strength of building.
