International level most prestigious Six Sigma award has been presented to Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K, Prof. Allam Apparao. University Academic Planning Director GVR Prasad Raju stated that he is privileged to present this prestigious award to Mr. Allam Apparao. Staff of JNTU College of Engineering has conducted the felicitation program here on Wednesday. Speaking on this, Mr. Prasad stated that considering the various development programs on Six Sigma Black Belt American Society for Quality and the students benefiting plans made, this award was presented to VC Allam Apparao, he added. Dr. Surya Prasad had presented this award. He also mentioned that first Indian Vice Chancellor to achieve this award is Prof. Allam Apparao.
