In a representation sent to the Chief Minister, the SHRC president and advocate, Mr. Muppala Subba Rao, said that based on the directions issued on February 12, 2009 with reference to GO MS 196, as many as 181 life convicts from Rajahmundry Central Prison were eligible for release.
He appealed to the Chief Minister to allow their release as thier family members were waiting for so long for their release.
