Kakinada, Feb 10th: East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi suspended two AE’s of housing board and gave show cause notices to 8 more AE’s for their failure to meet the required targets in the construction of Indiramma houses. The two assistant engineers who were suspended belong to Kakinada rural and Ravulapalem. Collector organized a review meeting at district collectorate on Tuesday. Reviewing the meeting he showed displeasure against the work of AE’s which caused the state level to drop to second position from the first in the implementation of the Indiramma project.
Another review meeting was organized by the collector on Tuesday. The meeting is all about the medical services and their effective implementation in the district. Several doctors belonging to various departments attended the meeting. Speaking on the occasion collector asked the medical department officers to render their services whole heartedly so as to reach the common man. He ordered DM & HO to issue show cause notices to the doctors of Rajanagaram, Rachapalli, Ravikampadu, Bikkavolu and few others for their negligence towards the work. Collector also presented shields to few of the doctors for their achievements towards the targets.
