Some of the Government staff and Teachers who were absent for the First & Second phase of gram panchayat elections polling, held recently in the district are in trouble. The district authorities have decided to send show-cause notices to those absentees. Speaking on this, The District Panchayat Officer Mr. Sridhar Reddy said, 'according to the district Collector's order, we are sending showcause notices to around 300 members of election staff, who were absent for gram panchayat elections'. We will also report the list of these absentees to the election commission, he added.
