Hyderabad, Nov 20th: Minority students have complained the AFRC, Admission and Fee Regulation Committee that they were denied admission into minority colleges in spite of their merit. They alleged that the college has blocked the seats and were allotting them to Non-minority students.
AFRC, immediately after receiving the complaint has decided to send the show-cause notice to the Single Window-II convener saying that all the colleges who were doing injustice to the merit students will be sealed. The committee has declared this in the meeting held on Thursday.
The committee has also decided to send the notice to few of the Engineering colleges regarding their irregularities in admissions. The SW-II admissions of M Pharm, B Pharm, MCA, MBA and M Tech were put in held with the complaint lodged by the students.
AFRC said that severe action will be taken on the colleges for blocking the seats and cancellation of recognition will be taken on such colleges.
