Kakinada, Dec 23rd: There is a major shortage of DSC applications in the district. The applicants were facing many problems with the delay in supply of the applications. Nearly 25,000 applications were in demand and only 6,000 were supplied till now. The post offices and e-seva counters were displaying the out of stock boards.
The applicants from different areas including Karapa, Kajuluru, Kakinada rural and Thallarevu are waiting for applications in the issue centers. They were facing many problems due to lack of stock in the centers. Police forces were also arranged in the concerned centers to avoid disturbances at the time of issuing the applications.
The post departments could not give the correct information about the availability of the applications. The officers were helpless in this issue. They assured that the concerned officers are discussing the problem with the government through video conference and making the arrangements for the same.
