Kakinada, Dec 11th: Students Federation of India, Kakinada committee has staged dharna and condemned the acid attack on engineering students at Warangal. Activists of SFI along with PDSU staged dharna at Collectorate on Thursday demanding to take severe action on the culprits.
The activists raised slogans saying to condemn illegal activities and to punish the culprits. They also alleged that, the government is not taking any stringent action on culprits. So such activities are increasing day by day.
All the Indian Democratic Women Organization, the Bharathiya Janatha Party and BJYM, Kakinada city unit also made the demands. They said that all the women should condemn the attack, as the attacks on women, particularly students are increasing in the recent past.
ABVP member Chitturi Chittibabu alleged that culprits should be hanged as they were spoiling the lives of the students with such illegal acts. Dharna took place for more than an hour. Student union leaders Ananth Lakshmi, Rama Krishna, Rama Chandra, Satyaveni, Mahesh, Swaroop and many more participated in dharna.
