Senior scientist Dr. N.Vijaya Rangan from Tata Consultancy Services highlighted the need for protecting computerized data from hackers and explained the steps to be taken to ensure information security to the faculty members of Pragati Engineering College here on Sunday. Addressing in a faculty development program on ‘Mobile Computing and Information Security,' Dr.Rangan advised the faculty to teach the techniques of information security to engineering and MCA students without fail.
