Selections for Zonal Level Bala Surya and Bala Ratna Awards will be conducted on 15th of this month at Bal Bhavan, Vijayawada. Superintendent of Bal Bhavan, M. Sarada said this to news line here on Saturday. Speaking on this, she stated that boys and girls from Krishna, Guntur, East and West Godavari districts are eligible to participate in these competitions. Children below 5 years of age are eligible for Bala Surya award and Children between 5 to 16 years of age are eligible for Bala Ratna awards, she added. She also stated that candidate willing to participate in these competitions need to take membership at Bal Bhavan. Competitions like Creative Writing, Creative Science, Creative art and Creative presentation will be conducted. Children can participate in any one of the competitions.
