Mr. P. Umapati, In-charge Superintendent of Police of East Godavari District said that, as the Allahabad High Court would deliver its verdict on Ayodhya title, the police would be extra careful in Kakinada and Rajahmundry cities on Thursday. He said no sensitive areas were identified in the District so far, but the police were asked to be extra careful in urban areas of the district. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Umapathi said Section 30 of the Police Act, which was already in existence, would be continued until 7th October. Calling upon the electronic media to maintain restrain while telecasting news reports pertaining to religion, Mr. Umapathi said that all the television channels need to follow the provisions of the Cable Television News Regulation Act, 1995, without fail.
