Kakinada, Feb 5th: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) has organized one day work shop on Indian Scientific and Technological Research for Human Welfare. The program was organized at Rangaraya medical college auditorium on Thursday. Several renowned scientists from various reputed organizations have participated in the program.
JNTU vice chancellor, Mr. Allam Apparao presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion he said that the JNTU was ahead in the technical drive by offering new and innovative programs. He revealed that, with the permission of AP state Government the university is going to start new courses in Human Interface Design, Information and Communication Technology, Materials Chemistry, Biological Science and Technology and Bio-Medical Engineering.
Later Mr. Allam Apparao gave power point presentation on Karnal Ranjit Sen narco analysis test on crime detection, forensic science, lie detection techniques, polygraph tests. Professor Ashok K. Saxena, general secretary of ISCA (Indian Science Congress Association) has also addressed the work shop. Speaking on the occasion he revealed various functions of the organizations over the past nine decades. He also disclosed that, with the keen interest of Mr. Apparao, the ISCA meet in 2011 will be conducted at JNTU, Kakinada.
