Sarpavaram Junction, Dec 22nd: Science fair is going to be held at Nalanda Vidya Nikethan on 26th, 27th and 28th of December. School principle M.Sireesha has declared this in the review meeting held on Monday at school premises. Speaking to the media she said that the science fair was arranged to created awareness among children.
Principal. Sireesha said that nearly 60 schools from all over the district are going to participate in the fair. The students from 6th class to 10th are eligible for the competitions that will be held on this occasion. She said that management is inviting 6 models from each school. In particular special models are invited for “Young Scientist” category.
School management has declared prizes and cash awards to the winners in different categories. First best model will be awarded an computer and the second best will be awarded an music system. For the “Young scientist” category the winners will be awarded a cash prize of 3,000Rs and the runners will be awarded 1,500Rs. Management also declared free boarding and lodging for the students and the teachers.
Only English medium schools are eligible for this science fare. The program will be conducted from 9am to 6pm and no entry fees will be collected from the visitors.
