The East Godavari district administration has decided to receive complaints from those who belonged to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes at a special grievance cell on the first Saturday of every month. As the decision to this affect was taken at the vigilance and monitoring committee meeting on prevention of atrocities against SC’s and ST’s on 30th of the June. According to this, the first grievance cell for the SC’s and ST’s held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Kakinada here on Saturday. East Godavari District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra presided over the cell and received complaints from the people attended from various areas in the district. According to the news line, this is the first special grievance cell conducted for SC & ST people in the state.
