SC cell criticizes MP Harsha Kumar

Kakinada, Dec18th: The members and activists of City SC Cell burnt the effigy of the Amalapuram MP, Mr. Harsha Kumar on Friday criticizing him for not resigning from his post in favor of Samaikya Andhra and even supporting the Center's decision of giving separate statehood to Telangana. Several activists including Mr. T Raju, Ms K. Vijayakumari took part in a rally from Balaji Cheruvu to Indrapalem under the aegis of the cell and raised slogans against the MP here on Friday morning. They demanded that the MP should immediately change his mindset and support the pleas of all the pro-united Andhra activists and participate in the protests.

On the occasion, Mr. Raju said that people from all walks of life including students from Andhra and Rayalaseema were participating in the protest like hunger strikes and some of them were ready to sacrifice their lives for Samaikya Andhra since the Center announced its decision in favor of formation of separate Telangana. But this MP, belonging to their community was not supporting the united Andhra and started making comments on those who fight against it, he lamented.
