Kakinada, Dec 30th: District congress SC society is organizing an awareness program in the district on 9th of January, 2009. The program is all about creating awareness among the Scheduled caste people about the welfare programs that were taken up by the congress party in their four and half year rule.
A review meeting was held at Kala Venkatarao Congress Bhavan on Tuesday about the arrangements of the tour. Congress party SC cell coordinator G. Ramarao, District SC cell chairman S. Kumar Raja presided over the review meeting. They revealed that national SC cell chairman A. Krishna will visit the district to participate in the awareness tour.
Krishna will visit Kakinada and will participate in the meeting that will be conducted at DCC office on 9th. All the atrocity cases related to the Scheduled Casts will be taken into consideration and the same will be informed to the chief minister. A meeting will be held for the second time on 4th to look over the arrangements of the tour. Thaluri Raju, Pulagala Raju and many more participated in the meeting.
