Mr. K.V.B.Sastry has taken charges yesterday as city Prohibition and Excise Enforcement Assistant Commissioner. Previous AC Mr.Battula Aruna Rao was transferred to Srikakulam. Our new AC Mr.Sastry previously worked for West Godavari district in the same position. Excise Deputy Commissioner Mr.G.Joseph and other officers welcomed him.
ZP CEO Mr. Kondayya Sastry has been listed for transfer in not even three and half months due to some political reasons. Reasons may be any thing but his transfer in very very short period has become a hot news in the city. GO number 1931 was passed yesterday, stating his transfer. Government ordered Collector to take immediate action in this matter even when it is not decided where to transfer him and whom to appoint in his place and was asked to submit reports of his transfer immediately.
