The District Employees JAC continued their protests and relay fasts in support to the ongoing Samaikyandhra agitation in the city, on Sunday infront of the Collectorate. The Seemandhra Lecturers Association of the District also joined the relay fasts on the day. According to this, Senior Politician Mr. Mutha Gopala Krishna has visited the camp and wished the JAC leaders.
The employees JAC of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) took out a bike rally in the city on Sunday. They performed 'Ksheerabhishekam' (cleansing with milk) to 'Telugu Talli' statue at PRGC center in Kakinada.
The Revenue Department Employees JAC is going to conduct a big rally in the city on Monday. According to this the JAC had released a press note here. The big rally will be started by Morning 9am from Deputy Transport Commissioner office in Kakinada.
ICDS, Anganwadi workers, Endowments and many other sections continuing their protests, rallies, strikes & fasts in the city.
On otherside, the Auto Unions announced that they are supporting the AP NGO's Samaikyandhra bandh on 24th of September. So that no auto is going to run on the day in the district, as they declared.
Entire Seemandhra region is going to observe the AP State Bandh called by AP NGO's on 24th of September.
