The Samaikyandhra agitation reached 60th day on Saturday, since the Samaikyandhra Movement commenced against to the CWC decision on AP State bifurcation. Marking the day, the Government & Private employees from different organisations staged unique demonstrations in Kakinada. Housing Corporation employees participated in the protest and observed relay fasts in the Employees JAC camp. They had formed a human chain carrying 200 meter length of National Flag and raised slogans in support to the Samaikyandhra movement. The employees across the District, including the agency area reached the Collectorate here and staged demonstrations in their own ways. Some agitators performed folk dances, especially the dance named Dongoo attracted the public. The document writers and Stamps & Registration employees exhibited agreement bonds and promissory notes claming. The employees JAC burnt the effigy of TSR Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao here. The Teachers JAC burnt the effigy of AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh here. The day was marked with complete protests, rallies and relay fasts in the City.
