Franchise Manager of Sahara India of Jagannaickpur, Mr. Macheti Venkata Diwakar was arrested in using the customer's deposits for personal use. Police arrested and brought him before the court here on Tuesday. According to I-Town SI Mr. Lakshman Reddy, Sahara India collected Rs.39.25 Lakhs deposits from 2008 to 2011 year. However, Manager Diwakar and Cashier Veera Babu utilized this amount for their personal use. While fake records were sent online to Head Office at Lucknow, Representatives of Head Office examined all the records and suspected. On this, they visited Office for investigation. However, they shifted the computer to their home to avoid further investigation. Head Office Representative Mr. K.Satya Murthy noticed that there is only Rs.31,150/- amount in office. On this he complained I-town police on 10th March. Police finally arrested manager on Tuesday but Cashier Veerababu absconded.
