Rytu Bazaar to get facelift

Kakinada, Dec 6th: The East Godavari administration initiated measures for the construction of new building for the Kakinada rytu bazaar near the RTC complex. The existing rytu bazaar is oldest in the district and was started about a decade ago by the previous Telugu Desam administration. The Kakinada rytu bazaar caters to the needs of more than 2,000 consumers on an average per day.

Kakinada municipal commissioner Mr. G.S.N Murthy was directed to get a plan prepared for the new construction. The CEO of the rytu bazaar was asked to provide necessary funds for the construction of the new building and this was accepted. The JC also said that the existing road which is passing through the bazaar would be shifted to one side while taking up new construction. The development of other rytu bazaars would be taken up in second and subsequent phases, the JC said.
