Rural Development Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh is going to visit East Godavari District on 2nd of January to start Aadhaar enabled direct cash transfer scheme in the district. According to this, Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad had released a press note. She stated that the Minister will start the scheme from Gollaprolu village in the district. The scheme will be implemented for Social pensions, Scholarships, Placements assurances, Janani Suraksha Yojana & National Child Labour eradication programs, she added. Minister is also going to inaugurate the MPDO office, which was constructed with Rs.50 Lakhs of expenses at Pithapuram.
