The APSRTC employees union has call off the strike, which is proposed to conduct from this Wednesday Morning, over the issue of 27 per cent interim relief payment. Sources said, after two rounds of discussions with the authorities, they agreed to call off this proposed strike. The union had threatened to go on strike after talks with the management initially failed on Tuesday evening. An agreement was, however, reached in the second round that IR for March would be paid with April salary and that pertaining to February by April 15.
