Rs.4,465 Cr for Annual Credit Plan

The Annual Credit plan 2010-11 prepared by the Andhra bank for all sectors in the district, evaluates a total credit of Rs.4,465 Cr while that in previous year 2009-10 was 4,013 Cr. There is 11.26% increase when compared to the previous year's credit.

 

The ACP projected an outlay of Rs.3,208Cr for agriculture purpose sector and in previous year it was Rs.2897.5 Cr. The main aim of the plan was to provide crop loans worth Rs 1.084 Cr in the kharif and Rs 722 Cr in the rabi season.

 

Based on potential linked credit plan (PLCP) was prepared by National bank for Agriculture and rural development (NABARD) , infrastructure facilities available during the present financial and various other factors like backward and forward linkages.

 

This Tuesday district level bankers committee meeting was held and during the unveil of the plan, Joint collector Mr.K.Sasidhar said that this year priority was given for agricultural sector where there is growth of 10.75% .Total share of 125.05% was taken from the PLCP prepared by NABARD in ACP 2010-11. He added that total credit to agriculture was Rs.2,565.56 Cr and share taken in ACP 2010-11 was 3,208.47 Cr.
