Registrar Dr. EV Prasad stated that according to the 12th plan of University Grants Commission (UGC), Rs.100 Crores propsal has been sent for JNTU-Kakinada. Speaking to news line, Dr. EV Prasad that if this proposal has been sanctioned, various programs like new building constructions, books availability in library, health centers for students, research and other development programs in university, he added. In order to discuss on this with University Grants Commission (UGC), two representatives from University Director Srinivas Kumar and Director Prasad Raju will be starting to New Delhi shortly, he added.
