District Deputy Educational Officer, Mr. D.Nageswarao said that every individual must utilize the sports amenities provided and become the best sports person. Mr. D.Nageswarao participated in the inaugural of Inter District Roller Skating Competitions, which commenced this Friday in association with District School Games Federation. Speaking in the inaugural, Mr. Nageswarao said that Kakinada is renowned in sports and conducting Inter District Competitions is very much appreciable he added. Retired Inspector of Physical Education Mr. Ch. Venkateswarao presided over this program and stated that skating is one of the best sports, which provides physical exercise. School Games Federation District Secretary, Mr. TVS Rangarao said that in association with Roller Skating Association, competitions are conducted in four different categories. Competitions conducted from 17th to 19th of this month will be conducted in Under 11, 14, 17, 19 categories he added. Under skating, competitions in Inline, Quad, Road Race, Rink-4, Rink-5, Rink-1 Quad and Quad Race would be conducted. For this competition, 170 sports person from 11 Districts attended the competition. Mr. Ch. Venkateswarao flagged off and started the competitions. Venkatrao, District PET Association President Mr. Pappula Srirama Chandra Murthy, Secretary Mr. Govind, School Games Federation Under-14, 19 Secretaries Mr. TVS Rangarao, Mr. Y.Tatabbai, Roller Skating Association President Mr. Raj Gopal, Secretary Mr. Ram Krishna, Coaches from various districts and parents attended.
