There was a robbery at State Bank of India of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada Branch here on Sunday. Two computer monitors were found missing in the bank according to bank officials. According to police personnel, bank staff had closed the bank and left by evening 4pm on Saturday. However, on Sunday morning, JNTU-K Security observed that bank lock was broken. Therefore, they informed Bank Branch Manager, Vanditha Kumari through phone. She later informed Bank Accountant, Mr. U.Apparao on this and asked him to check immediately. Rural CI, Mr. Pitta Somasekhar, Writer, Mr. Nageswarao, Constable, Mr.Nookaraju reached the bank and investigated. Dog Squad, Members of Clues Team collected the proofs. Computer monitor from Manager’s room and another monitor from hall were stolen. According to sources, some people broke the windows and entered the bank. Bank officials complained to Sarpavaram Police and case was registered.
