The burglars pretending as police officers had stolen amount of Rs.50,000/- . According to police, Vakkalanka Subbarao working as Clerk in PSR Jeweler shop went to a bankers near Gold Market Centre. While he was returning back, two strangers surrounded and terrified him. They forced him to open his bag by telling that drugs were being supplied in that area. They observed that an amount of Rs.2.5 Lakhs was present in the bag. At the same time, another man reached the spot and faked himself as SI. While he was taking a false investigation, they escaped with the bag and returned in few minutes. Later, when Subbarao observed his bag Rs.50,000/- was missing in his bag. Therefore, he filed a complaint at III-Town Crime Police Station. While investigation, police got a clue that the burglars were from Rajasthan.
