A Water pipeline from Kakinada to Samalkot Sambhamurthi Reservoir was built in 1930 during british rule, as this pipeline is under repair, a new pipeline was constructed attaching with this. Knowing this some people has dug and removed the old pipeline and moved to their place in Madhavapatnam without taking anyones permission. Officers left them even after noticing them carrying these pipes, thinking that they belong to Reliance company work. This made them to take advantage, that they continued moving the old pipeline. But finally they caught on police search, when they tried to move these pipelines via Samalkot to Vijayawada. Police seized 47 pipelines which were kept in a private site in Madhavapatnam along with two lorries and Proclainer.
