Robbery in Doctors residence

Amalapuram, Nov 9th: Robbery took place at Amalapuram in the residence of area hospital doctor M.R.J. Sharma. The incident took place on Friday at Tharakarama Nagar belonging to Peruru Panchayath.

       The family was out of station when the incident took place and came to light on Saturday when the servant maid came and saw that the doors of the house were broken and noticed that all the almaras were left open. She immediately alerted the police regarding the incident.

       According to police thieves entered the house by breaking the store room doors and opened the other doors and almaras with an iron rod and taken away the gold and silver ornaments.

      On Sunday Dr.Sharma was back to home and noticed that nearly 500 grams of gold and 77,000 cash was missing. Mamidivaram C.I, Jayaraj, Kakinada C.I Murthy, A.S.I  Mukarjee reached the incident place and filled the F.I.R report regarding the incident and investigation team collected the finger prints for further investigation.
