Kakinada, Mar 27th: A gang of four robbers entered into the house of a money lender in Keeravali Village, 40 kms from here, in the wee hours of Saturday and ran away with Rs 1.50 lakh cash and two sovereigns of gold ornaments. Police sources said Borra Rajarao was sleeping on the verandah along with his family members. The gang made him immobile by catching hold of his hands and legs and stuffing cloth in his mouth. They took the keys underneath the pillow and opened the almirah where gold ornaments were kept. Later, they lifted away the cash box to nearby fields and broke it open and disappeared with the valuables under the cover of darkness.
