Rajahmundry, Oct14th: A lorry Driver was dead accidentally by hitting the halted trolley at the early hours on Tuesday. The cleaner was severely injured in accident and was admitted in the hospital for treatment.
According to the information Velu Kondayya (50) and Hanumanth Rao (53) were the inhabitants of Singaraya Konda in Prakasam District. Both of them working in APSRTC took VRS and bought a lorry two months back.
The lorry was taking a huge load of brandy from Srikakulam to Rajahmundry. In the early hours Kondayya(driver) was driving the lorry and Hanumanth Rao(cleaner) was sleeping where driver took a knap due which he hit the trolley which was carrying rails. Rails damaged the lorry and driver was dead in the spot. Cleaner saved his life by jumping from the lorry.
Police said that the accident took place due to the negligence of the driver. The case will be investigated by the Bommuru police.
