Kakinada, Oct 27th: Zilla Parishad Chairman and District congress party member Chelluboyina Venugopala Krishna (45) was seriously injured in a road accident that took place on Monday at ADB road near Peddapuram.
According to the sources, Chairman with his staff, going to Rajahmundry in a four wheeler to meet excise minister Jakkampudi Rammohan Reddy regarding an issue. While the four wheeler was proceeding towards Rajahmundry, vehicle has a collision with a two wheeler which was coming in opposite direction.
Mr. Gopalakrishna sustained injuries on his legs, the driver of the vehicle also seriously injured. Three persons on the two wheeler also injured who were shifted to Kakinada general hospital for treatment.
After the treatment Chairman went back to Kakinada. By hearing regarding the accident C.I Y.Nagadurga Rao and DSP L. Subba Rao reached the hospital for further information regarding the incident and filed and FIR report.
