Kakinada, Feb 14th: Two person's died and six other sustained serious injuries when an auto-rickshaw in which they were traveling from Pithapuram to Kakinada, hit a lorry at Timmapuram junction, a 10 km away from here on Sunday. The deceased were identified as P. Venkata Rao, 50, of Recharlapeta in Kakinada city and K. Sattibabu, 32 of chitrada village of Pithapuram mandal in East Godavari. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the government general hospital for treatment. The injured were identified as P. Nagaraju, M. Srinivas, G. Arjun, V. Sreenu, P. Veera Lakshmi and P. Lovathalli. The police said that the auto-rickshaw driver was absconding. A case is registered ad investigation is on.
