Two persons died and three persons were severely injured in a road accident that took place at Jagannaickpur N.T.R Bridge in Kakinada here on Tuesday. Two out of five were dead on the spot and the other three are undergoing treatment in Kakinada GGH. According to the police verification, the mishap occurred while the Private Travels Bus was crossing the bridge, at the same time an auto and two motorcycles were crossing over the bridge in the opposite direction. The accident took place due to the collision of bus, as the brakes failed. Two motorcyclists died on the spot were identified as J.Ramarao (49) & his son Prasad (32), both are working as RTC Depo Drivers and other injured were Yarla Satyanarayana (30) from Kajuluri village; Srinivasa Agencies' Proprietor's Son Vallu Durga Prasad (24) & Srinivasa Agencies Marketing Supervisor Pendyala Uday Bhaskar (55) were severely injured. People in the bus & other vehicles were safe. Police filed the case and further investigation is in process.
