Students of Rangaraya Medical College complained against a Professor working on contract basis who extracted money from students to give marks. Complaint was submitted to Director of Medical Educational Dr. T.Ravi Raju and Superintendent of Government General Hospital Dr. MBR Sarma. According to the inner sources, the accused Professor was retired but still working on contract basis. They complained that he was demanding money for giving marks in exams. Students who could not pay him were also sexually harassed. Complaint was given against the accused last week. However, Department Heads kept this as undisclosed and started investigation here on Saturday. While press people questioned Hospital Superintendent Incharge, Dr. Babji about this, he said, he was not aware as Superintendent Mr. Sarma is on leave.
