Three Students from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada were selected for South Zone Inter University Chess Competitions, which are to be conducted from 27th of December to 1st of January at Calicut University, Kerala. According to this, College PD Mr. K. Sparjan Raju had released a press note. He said that students K. Uday Kiran, J. Hari Chandan Kumar & Y. G. Sri Harika were selected for these competitions.
A team from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) has been selected for South Zone Inter University Table Tennis Competitions, which are to be conducted from 27th of December to 29th of December. A total 10 members are there in this selected team. Mr. M. S. Khan, Mr. G. Sudhakar are selected as managers for the team. Similarly, some of the students were selected for the South Zone Inter University Chess Competitions, which are to be conducted from 27th of December to 1st of January at Calicut University, Kerala. According to this, JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das, Registrar Mr. G. V. R. Prasad Raju, DAP Mr. Ch. Saibaba, Sports Secretary Mr. G.Syam Kumar and other staff have appreciated the students for their achievement.
