Surveillance team got the news that there is a risk from terrorists in district. Coast guard and marine polices became alert on this and started thorough searching in the coastal areas. Surveillance team informed district that as Independence day August 15th and Sunday came at a time there is a chance of terrorists attack in district. As higher officials and staff will be participating in the Independence day celebrations at district police parade, there is also chance of attack here. Special protection has also been arranged at gas companies like Reliance and ONGC and also at highest business organization deep water port.
