Rise of demand for accommodation

Kakinada, May 15th: With the introduction of centralized system of counting and organizing the same at district headquarters, Kakinada,  the demand for accommodation in the region has raised to a maximum extend. There is a heavy rush for accommodation as the contestants and their supporting candidates from various destinations started reaching the city from Friday evening. This created a lot of demand for hotels and lodging houses providing accommodation along with AC and TV facilities.  

 

In addition to this the polling staff was also asked to report at their counting centers on or before 6am on May 16, the counting day, they were forced to reach the city on Friday. The staff from other parts of the district has to arrange accommodation of their own.  Besides this the administration has to look after accommodation for all the poll observers entrusted with the poll duties from far-off places. All these requirements have raised a huge demand for hotels and lodges in the city.
