The Great Social Reformer, Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule is an inspiration to me to become a Collector, stated by District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad here on Wednesday. She participated as a chief guest to the program which was conducted here, on occassion of 122nd Death Anniversary of Phule, in Kakinada under the chairmanship of City MLA Mr. Dwarampudi Chandra Shekar Reddy. Firstly, she had offered garlands to the bronze statue of Sri Jyothi Rao Phule at GGH center in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she said that, Mahatma Jyothirao Phule strived to root out social evils, against child marriages and advocated development of women. He is always an inspirational icon to every women, she added.
