Kakinada, Jan 12th: On the occasion of National Youth Day, Swami Vivekananda birthday was celebrated grandly in the district on Monday. The celebrations were organized at SETRAJ office located at Ramanayyapeta. Initially Sampara MLA Anisetti Bulliabbai Reddy garlanded the Vivekananda Statue and did Jyothi Prajwalana.
District congress president and ZP chairman, Mr. Srinivas Venugopala Krishna also presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion he asked the youth to take inspiration from Swami Vivekananda and reach the heights in their future. He appreciated the congress government for providing employment to the youth under Rajiv Udyogasri.
On this occasion youth has taken an oath to fight for anti terrorism. Later ZP chairman distributed autos, musical instruments and xerox machines to the youth. MPP G. Venkateswara Rao, MPDO Ramana Reddy, Ideal collage correspondent Chiranjeevini Kumari, SETRAJ CEO Srinivas and others took part in the celebrations.
The celebrations were also organised at Swami Vivekananda park. Students from various schools have actively participated in the celebrations. They sang various patriotic songs and paid rich tributes to swami vivekananda by garlanding the statue.
