Rich tributes were paid to Legendary Singer Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao on his 39th death anniversary here on Monday. According to this, Alluri Sita Rama Raju Smaraka Kalavedhika has organized a program here, in Kakinada. District Incharge Joint Collector, Additional Joint Collector Mr. B. Ramarao has participated over the program as the chief guest. Firstly, he offered garlands to the bronze statue of Sri Ghantasala at Balatripura sundari temple center in Kakinada. Later, a meet was arranged at Merchants Association hall in Kakinada. AJC has started the program by lighting the lamp (jyothiprajwalana). Speaking on this, he stated that the words are not enough to say about this great singer. He is the only one singer, who has introduced the telugu culture with his voice to the world, he stressed. Later, Ghantasala musical concert was arranged by Srusti Arts as a part of the program. Kalavedhika President Mr. Sathi Krishna Reddy, Secretary Mr. Pampana Dhayananda Babu, Honourable President Mr. Ungarala Venkateswara Rao, Mr. Jyothula Sri Krishna, Mr. Atchuta Ramayya, Puppala Surya Kumari, Mr. Babiboena Venkatesh Naidu, Mr. Puppala Satyanarayana Murthy, Mr. T. L. Achari, Prasanthi and others participated in the program.
