Rich tributes paid to first PM

Kakinada, May 27th: Rich tributes were paid to first Prime Minster of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on the occasion of his 45 death anniversary on Wednesday. The day was grandly observed at local District Congress Party Office. Zilla Parishat chairman Mr. Venu, MLA Dwarampudi Chandra Shekar Reddy garlanded the portrait of Nehru and paid rich tributes to him.

 

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Venu remembered the services done by Nehru’s family for the development of the poor and the weaker sections. He thanked the party members and other for their cooperation in making congress government coming back to power. Congress city secretary, P. Ramu, M. Datham, corporators and other congress leaders participated.

The day was also observed at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on Wednesday. University vice chancellor, Mr. Allam Apparao and others paid rich tributes to the late Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to mark his 45 death anniversary. University evaluation director, Satya Prasad, Principal E.V Prasad, co-coordinator Purnanandan and others participated.
