Hyderabad, Sep 4th: Rich tributes were paid to late Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S Raja Shekar Reddy all over the state on Friday. Television Channels and FM Radios switched off entertainment programs and completely focused on the tragic air crash and the death of Dr. Reddy. For the first time even private TV cable operators had blanked out entertainment programs and FM Radios had switched to devotional music.

Through out the day, people all over the state remained indoors glued to the television sets watching the final journey of their favorite and beloved leader who died in a helicopter crash in the Nallamala forest on Wednesday. Wearing black badges people gathered at pandals and took protest marches and raised slogans ‘YSR Amar Rahe’. Many of them recalled his visit to their places and several welfare schemes offered for the development of the weaker sections including all the sections of the community.

Business establishments including hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, petrol stations and shops remained closed voluntarily to express their grief over the sudden demise of the leader. Hundreds of people left for Idupulapaya from various parts of the state to have a final glimpse at the late Chief Minister. The entire state looked forlorn with many roads and streets wearing a deserted look.
