Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada Rector Dr. Prabhakar Rao has stated that the sports are helpful to get physical fitness and mental relaxation for the human body. Yesterday, he has participated as a chief guest to the rally, which was conducted for the awareness of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) scheme here. He had flagged off the rally, which was conducted in the university premises. Later, speaking on this, he has stated that the JNTU-K is one of the 11 centers under RGKA scheme in the country. Along with him, the University Registrar Dr. Prasad Raju also presided over the program as another chief guest. The University Director of Evolution Dr. Saibabu, Principal Dr. Padma Raju, NSS Co-ordinator Mr. Sri Kumar, Directors, other Staff and Students attended the program.
